These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Aerial Excellence provides aerial photography, videography, and related creative media services. By commissioning our services, you agree to these terms.
If you have any questions, please contact us at benjamin@lycettesq.com
Aerial Excellence cannot be held liable for unscheduled changes to weather conditions. Given the unpredictable nature of the UK climate, we strongly advise clients to provide two potential dates for each aerial operation.
Weather is a critical safety and operational factor, and all flights are subject to the Pilot in Command’s assessment of conditions on the day.
Aerial operations can only commence once all pre-flight checks, risk assessments, and airspace permissions are complete.
Comprehensive planning is a legal and safety requirement under UK aviation regulations and forms an integral part of every Aerial Excellence operation.
Aerial Excellence operates within the parameters of its Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) authorisation, certified to fly up to 120 metres Above Ground Level (AGL) and within a 500-metre radius of the remote pilot.
Operations outside these limits require a formal variation or temporary airspace approval from the CAA. Clients must allow a minimum of 28 days’ notice for such applications.
All Aerial Excellence activities are conducted in full compliance with our CAA-approved Operations Manual and the UK Air Navigation Order (ANO).
This ensures all flights are carried out safely, legally, and professionally.
The Pilot in Command holds ultimate authority to determine whether a flight proceeds (“Go”) or is cancelled (“No-Go”).
If, at any point, conditions are assessed to pose a risk to persons, property, or equipment, the Pilot will issue a No-Go decision. A full explanation will be provided, and we will work collaboratively with you to identify an alternative solution or reschedule where possible.
All images and video captured by Aerial Excellence are provided for the exclusive use of the client, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Aerial Excellence reserves the right to use non-confidential images and footage for marketing, promotional, and portfolio purposes.
Clients who wish to restrict use of their imagery must notify Aerial Excellence in writing before the commencement of operations.
All quotations and cost estimates issued by Aerial Excellence are based on the assumption that information provided by the client is accurate and complete.
Should any detail be found to be inaccurate, Aerial Excellence reserves the right to revise the quotation or associated costs accordingly.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are on reciept of invoice.
In accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, overdue invoices will accrue interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate per month until payment is received in full.
While every effort is made to ensure safe and professional operations, Aerial Excellence shall not be held responsible for losses, delays, or damages arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, airspace restrictions, or regulatory delays.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English court
